A Neil Tribute

Oh my goodness this has been a day. It is late and so I am only going to post a brief story and then I am off to bed.

I have run into a problem that I have never experienced with the kids before. We are actually not making it through milk. I don't know what the deal is. We used to clip through four to six gallons a week and we have not made it through 2 gallons yet this month. I finally dumped out the stuff that was in the fridge as it was best used or whatever by the 10th. I guess we don't really do cereal, Jack no longer drinks chocolate or regular milk, Natty doesn't drink near as much because she has to make her own now and Andy has started to cut back on his milk intake. I don't drink it anyway so that has no effect on it.

Well, as mentioned I dumped out the stuff that was in the fridge and we headed in to Wal-Mart to pick up a fresh gallon. I also needed to put gas in the car so we stopped off at the gas station. I had selected Neil Diamond on the Ipod yesterday during our return trip from St. George. Well, we had more Neil time on this little run to the store. So while I am pumping gas and washing windows Natty is cranking Neil Diamond in the car. I could here it pretty good. So as I was washing the windows I started using the handle of the washer/squeegee as a microphone. I gave a passionate lip sync performance.

There were a few passers by that probably thought I was crazy. Not to worry, it was for the kids and they seemed to enjoy it. It was fun to just play around. And I also must say, Neil Diamond is fantastic. Glad I have three kids that love his stuff. When we got out of the car to walk in the store for the milk Jack was singing Sweet Caroline. It was great.

Anyhow, that is all for this evening. Cheers!
