Oh What Fun

The kids are all about Super Mario on the Wii right now. It is actually pretty fun. Reminds me of playing Mario on the original Nintendo as a kid. This is a bit more high tech but that is okay. The other thing that I enjoy about this game is that it doesn't make me physically ill. That is a big plus.

Anyhow, the kids love it and so we did a game night with the four of us playing away. I sit on the couch between the boys and Natty sits in the chair by herself. There is certainly some "strategery" in the sitting arrangement. First, Andy needs help on occasion. You don't always know when that will be. His controller just suddenly appears in your lap. It's a great little handoff. It usually happens when visiting toad houses but there are other times as well. I also sit by Jack to serve as a shock absorber and I absorb a lot of shocks from him. I don't know what it is but he bounces the entire time he plays the game. When he has to jump he physically jumps right there with it. Seriously, when I say he bounces the entire time, he does. I wonder if it is the music. Funny. The constant jumping and bouncing is precisely why Natty sits alone.

Jack ran over to Wal Mart with me tonight. We were getting a few picnic items for a family hike tomorrow. He really wanted yogurt with his lunch so I let him get some. He was really excited and was staring at it while putting it in the cart. Only problem is it was not our cart. He thought it was pretty funny when he realized it. It is amazing how much easier Wal Mart is when I only have one of the three. Actually, it is still somewhat of a challenge with Andy but not near as difficult as all three.

All in all the day was just fine. I painted today and after discovering the problem with the spray gun I was able to fix it and it worked a lot better. Funny how that happens. Anyhow, everything is painted with some touch up remaining then a little sanding work and shellacking. Oh won't that be nice. I am beat at the moment and still need to run. Sure do love the chitlens. Thanks guys for a great game night.
