Full Day

Started the day getting the kids ready to go and then we were off to help clean the Church.  I try and sign up to do this each month we are assigned.  Today the Young Women were signed up so Natty was going to be there and I figured we might as well go too.  I sent the boys to play in the cultural hall while I took on an assignment.  I'm afraid I didn't do much.  I was assigned to put ice melt on the walks around the building.  Andy Bishop is in charge.  Last night he came in to the LBH and I had shared with him that I wouldn't be able to stay long as there was a catering thing that came up.  With that in mind he had me do the ice melt.

Well, we were off to the LBH after that to get the catering order done.  It was for the Cedar West Stake and a special gathering of former Bishops and their wives in the old 2nd and 8th Ward Building.  They are going to be tearing down this building and so they had this final gathering in the building.  This is the oldest church building in Cedar.  We got the meal ready and got it there.  Pops left before me as I had to get some plates.  He had the food unloaded when I got there and I ran the plates up.  It was just a somber moment being in there, knowing it was going to be torn down and looking at these individuals who had served as Bishops and their wives. There was a neat spirit in the building.  I hope we were able to add to that with what we provided.

Made a run in to the shop after that, things were slow so I went to the old shop to work on getting things out.  We got quite a few things cleaned out and donated more to DI.  Dan has been going all week to drop off stuff at DI.  I am sure he is well known now.  Anyhow, lots of stuff.  The basement is cleaned out.  That was a bear.  We have some final things to move out to storage now.  Mainly things that will go to the St. George store.  We did bring quite a few things to my house and still have quite a few things more to bring.  I ended up spending a couple hours in my garage getting things arranged.  Too much stuff in the garage so we need to weed it out.  That will be fun.

Natty had a party to go to tonight and fortunately Annie across the street helped her out quite a bit with a white elephant and a treat to share.  Sure appreciate that help.  Natty really had a good time at the party and I am glad for that.

Took the boys for Pizza and then we went to Wally world afterwards.  I was again on my feet and just about ready to pass out.  We got home though, got Natty and now, as soon as I finish typing about this full day I am going to sleep.
