Repeat...

Pete and Repeat are sitting on a fence.  Pete falls off.  Whose left?  Repeat.  Pete and Repeat are sitting on a fence.  Pete falls off.  Whose left?  Repeat.  Pete and Repeat are sitting...

I feel like I'm just repeating the same thing over and over lately.  I am so tired at the end of the day that I sit down and I am out.  The brain shuts down and I cannot think of what to say.  It is actually Saturday morning and I am editing this post.  When I sat down all that came to mind was basically a repeat and then that little riddle popped into my mind but all I managed to get down was: So dang tired.

There were a couple other things that happened yesterday worth noting.  When Andy and I walked to school the Principal, Mr. Oldroyd was out sitting on a wall with a boy scissor locked between his legs.  The boy was screaming and beating on Mr. Oldroyd who was texting someone.  I figure it was Mrs. Coonan because as we were walking down the hall she came out of the office heading in our direction.  She said she wanted to talk to me about how good Andy was doing on his work and then her full attention was on Mr. Oldroyd who had come in behind us with the boy.  Andy and I went down to his class and that was the end of it.

Later I received a text from Mrs. Coonan apologizing for not having time to talk.  She told me again how good Andy was doing and then she talked about Jack briefly.  Apparently Jack showed up on the scene with this boy who had lost it, not sure of the details there but Sharon said Jack was a tremendous help to the boy and getting him to calm down.  I asked Jack about it later and he was just like oh I just talked to him.  Anyhow, it was nice to hear good things about these boys.  They are good boys.

On the topic of children let me also note that Natty really enjoyed her last day of being 13.  I don't know how many times she good me she was getting so old.  She also kept talking about things she was doing for the last time as a 13 year old.  I think she is excited for her birthday.  She is really a good girl.

Grateful for good kids and the joy they are in my life.

Anyhow, Pete and Repeat are sitting on a fence.  Pete falls off.  Whose left?
