I was enjoying some sleep last night when I woke up to a visitor. It was Jack. He was in my doorway and asked if he could have a blessing. Absolutely. He was a bit scared in the night from some bad dreams. I gave him a blessing and then we got him all situated and back in bed. That was fantastic. It brings much joy to my heart when my children exercise faith in the Priesthood and come to me seeking a blessing. It is a humbling experience that fills my heart with gratitude to the Lord for the restoration of the Gospel and the Priesthood.
There is a lot going on in life these days and sometimes all we can do is trust in the Lord. We trust that he is aware of who we are, that he is at the helm and we are blessed as we follow the direction we receive from him.
