I received a text tonight right when I sat down to call this mysterious woman I've talked about the last couple of days. It was from her. We had pretty much set up a date for tomorrow evening and I was calling to officially ask her out on said date and work out some specifics, that and chit chat some. Well, the call never happened. Her text let me know she was cancelling. She has an appointment at 7:30 she had forgotten about. She did start out with a "you're going to hate me", I don't know about that, hate is a pretty strong word.
At this point I could hear Bon Jovi singing "shot down in a blaze of glory!! That seemed appropriate. Not to worry, I wasn't going to let everything fall apart . Rescheduled for lunch Friday... the blaze of glory!
