The following is Wednesday's post. I fell asleep in the middle of it and it saved as a draft. Last night I was up Cedar Mountain with the scouts and without service.
We spent the day fasting for padre. He is going in tomorrow morning for a procedure where they will take a closer look at his heart. They found some irregularities last week. The hope is that they will be able to put stints in while they are in there and he can avoid open heart surgery. When I say we fasted I speak of the siblings who are able, spouses, whomever wanted to join in. Anyhow, we fasted and then after pep Dave, Amy, Dan and I met over at the folks and Dave, Dan and I gave pops a blessing. It was a good day and a good moment there. Grateful for the blessings of fasting and of the priesthood and of faith.
