Moving Party

Tonight we went to a gathering, a party of sorts for Jay and Sara at their house.  It was a moving party to come over and say goodbye as they are leaving for Springville on Friday morning.  Pretty exciting for them and pretty sad all at the same time.  Just under 4 years as I was going through divorce I knew I was moving to Cedar City.  I didn't know where to live and Sara went to work finding a place for us.  It was just around the corner from them.  We lived there for a year and then we moved next door to them when our current home became available.  It has been a great blessing for my family to be neighbors with Jay and Sara and their children.  It hit me tongiht just how much we are going to miss them, how much I am going to miss them.  Being a single father is not the easiest thing to do in this world.  There are a few things that I simply miss and there are times when I struggle.  I have been increadibly blessed to have great neighbors who love my children and who are there for them when I may not be able to be home.  It is going to be hard to see them go, very hard.
