Salad Bar

Today was going to be the first day we had the salad bar opened at the Brick House.  We sold one salad bar.  It was to our employee.  We had things set up but we didn't have everything in it and we didn't have serving spoons and tongs when everything started for lunch.  We didn't really get to offer it and then when the folks made it to town with the serving spoons we were not in a position to get it all up because we were thin on our staff today and we were busy all day.  Anyhow, we did have a few salads end up getting made.  There was the one from our employee and then mom made one, I made one and Dani came in and got one.  So there we are, test subjects.  I would report that my salad was fantastic.  There were a few things slated to be in the line up that we didn't have and those would have been included on my plate normally.  Next time perhaps.  I think the salad bar will be a great addition to the Brick House.  We will have a lot to learn here pretty quickly about operating a successful salad bar.  Should be fun times.
