The big thing the kids wanted to do today was to go to the beach. So after breakfast we relaxed for a bit then we got ready and we went to Long Beach beach. I think that's what it was. There was a nice big pier there and we looked out on three islands. It was a good time. Jack and Natty were some serious fish. Andy was a bit of a waterboy himself. It was a nice day for it. The beach was not crowded at all so it was just us for the most part. Well just us in the area we were at.
One of the big highlights was driving over two bridges and through the middle of the shipping ports. We saw the USS Iowa at port. That was awesome. It would be nice to go and see it up close and take the tour but the price is like $18 each. I don't have that. Maybe we'll drive down by it for a better look tomorrow.
Well, it has been a fun day. I have enjoyed the time with the kids and I think they've had fun too.
