Closing Speaker

The closing speaker in the primary program for the Cedar 8th ward this year was none other than Andy Fontano.  He was asked to talk about prayer.  His part was "My name is Andy. My grandpa has not been feeling well and has been in the hospital a lot.  As a family we have been praying for him to get better.  One day we had a special fast for him along with out prayers.  He has been able to come home from the hospital and is getting better.  We are still praying for him to be healthy and strong.  I know Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers".  We practiced it several times at home though said practice was not without its objections from the star himself.  Regardless of whatever objections Andy came up with he did practice and had it down pretty well.  I do believe he got a little nervous up at the pulpit and at one point got a little lost.  Sister Mitchell from the primary presidency gave him a prompt from behind him.  It was a prompt for something he had already said and he let her know "I've already passed that part".  He was able to carry on and finished it out well.  The program was good.  Grandma came to support.  Jack didn't go up.  The kids all did a fine job.  Good day to be in Church.
