Trimming and Chopping

Gave the yard a good mowing this morning.  I really needed it and the lawn needed it too.  Feels so good to get out there and mow.  I edged and weed whacked as well.  Wonderful.  I then fired up the chainsaw and cut up a few large logs that I have had on the side of the driveway for over a year.  It was time.  I cut them up then I grabbed the axe and cut up a bunch of logs.  Chopping wood is a fabulous activity.  When I got done chopping and stacking I went in to take a shower and get cleaned up.  Before I did that I decided to give myself a haircut so I trimmed again only this time it was atop of my head.  Oh my, it has been a full day with stops to the shop, the store and then sitting and studying for a big test tomorrow.  I am beat, need to sleep so I can get some rest before I have to go to school in the morning.  The kids have one more day off but not me.  Still waiting for my placement test results or assessment test results for LM 1000.  I am still hoping I can get out of taking that class through passing that test.  Well, must sleep.  Love my beautiful family.
