Feel the Music

We made a run down to St. George tonight to pick up some things for the store.  Before leaving I grabbed my old CD case so I could introduce more music to the boys.  We've listened to a lot of Neil Diamond, ACDC, Bob Seger and most recently some Lenny Kravitz.  I thought it was time for more so I opened the case and what did I see?  The Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill album. We had to do it.  I gave the boys fair warning that this would be unlike the other things we have been listening to.  As the music started eyes got big and smiles appeared on faces.  That is good stuff.  I then went in and adjusted the tone.  I kicked up the bass quite a bit and eyes got bit once again.  It was pretty fun.  After Costco I switched out the CD and put in Credence Clearwater Revival.  I quite enjoy a little Credence and the boys liked it too except for the majority of the return trip when they were sleeping.  No matter, I enjoyed it and I sang along.  Loud and proud people.

Earlier today and on a separate note, Stephanie Laurie her mom Brenda Laura and Grandmother Harris came in for lunch.  I knew they were coming and was excited to see them all.  It had been many years since we were able to visit.  It was a great visit, we had lots of laughs.
