The Raquette Ball

Last year I played raquette ball for the first time and think I played a total of three times, it may have been two.  It wasn't much and I wasn't very good.  This year I have begun to play again. I have now played five times in the last couple of months.  I am not very good and was easily getting schooled when I began playing.  Slowly I am improving and becoming more competitive.  Today I went and played and actually did quite well. I didn't win but I took the game to 14-13 with several long rally's and a multitude of sweet shots before faltering at the end. That was a vast improvement over my previous attempts at the sport. I can at least feel like I am being somewhat competitive.  It feels good to improve and to be more competitive.  Like anything in life that we work at and practice, we get better and better. I will keep pressing.
