Cedar West Stake Historic Meeting

I attended the Stake General Priesthood meeting this evening.  It was quite the meeting. The focus was missionary work and President Schmutz invited two missionaries serving in the Stake to share their testimonies.  They did.  It was good.  This is the first time the Cedar West Stake has had its own missionaries. Pretty exciting.  They are Sisters.  We have Sister "D" from Provo, UT and Sister Frost who just arrived in the mission on Wednesday.  She is from American Samoa.  It was the first time Sister Frost had spoken.  She did so with power and the Spirit and quite a bit of humor.  President Schmutz said we as a Stake would provide meals for them.  I thought it would be wonderful for the kids to have that experience.  I've always enjoyed feeding the missionaries and having them in the home.  I am not sure how I can do that as a single man.  I've never had that experience before but we will figure it out.  With our own set of missionaries also comes the charge to provide them with teaching opportunities.  Much to do.
