Nose Dive - Double Take

After work we had a nice calm evening in regards to the wind outside so we decided to get the slow stick ready for its maiden flight.  I know that last week I posted the maiden voyage - it was a wingless affair.  Tonight we had the complete plane.  So Jack fired it up and he actually did a nice job.  It was a little bit up and down and then it ended rather abruptly with a nose dive.  The prop was broken, the motor shoved back and the rudder or tail of the plane was busted.  We went home and I did some quick repairs.  Jack learned quickly watching videos that packing tape is great for quick fixes.  I performed such a fix on the tail section.  It wasn't super strong but it was in tact.  With our last prop installed and the motor re-mounted we headed back over.  I asked if I could fly it figuring I could take it up and fly it without a problem.  I took it up allright and then I took it right back down with an even worse nose dive then what Jack did.  I ended up needed to make a few more in depth repairs.  The good news is that it is back and ready for action.  Hopefully my Krazy Glue action on the propeller does the trick and we can get it flying - without the nose dive.
