Don't Say Anything At All

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!  Is that the advice we hear so often?  I am not sure really, I may have messed it up.  Regardless I think it is fairly sound and makes some pretty dang good sense.  Tonight I am practicing not saying anything at all.  Something came across the wire that I found frustrating and I twice wrote a reply and twice deleted it.  A reply simply was not worth my time though I invested some time twice replying.  I guess the key is that I didn't send it.  Somewhere in the scriptures it says that it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man.  Well then, I guess I successfully didn't say anything at all.  No reason to get excited, just let it roll off like water on a ducks back.  Funny enough on something completely unrelated the kids and I were discussing the need to have a punching bag to release frustration on.  Perhaps that would help in the efforts to not say anything at all?  We might need to put that to the test...
