Living Prophet

For Family Home Evening tonight we read a few stories from the life of President Thomas S. Monson.  These were stories of faith, of prayer, of listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost, of priesthood power.  The spirit was certainly present as we read and discussed these stories and was a testament to the life of President Monson.  I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, for the restoration of that gospel and for living prophets on the earth.  I know that Thomas S. Monson is the Lord's prophet on the earth today.  Grateful for his life of faith and the lessons learned from his experiences and his example.
