After nearly three weeks of feeling ill I find that today I am feeling quite good and that is fantastic. Truly fantastic! I was able to get back on the exercise bike today, actually got on this morning and then again for 30 minutes this evening. It felt good. I have missed my daily exercise routine and though I did not do my strength training portion it was good to get the riding in. I will work in the strength training over the next few days. Maybe I am a little gun shy there, the last time I did my full work out it killed my physically. I was just not well though I thought I was. I'm thinking ease into it and make sure I am well.
My goodness, I think it is quite easy to take good health for granted. When your body is not well it makes things a bit miserable. Not being able to just quit everything while you are sick makes it worse, recovery drags out and exhaustion settles in. Sure makes you appreciate feeling good. Well, it makes me appreciate it anyway. Very grateful to be feeling better today!
