Work To Do

I have a lot of work to do here at the house.  We are on to flooring phase two, the basement.  In order to complete this task I have to remove everything that I currently have in three rooms downstairs.  That is not an easy task.  They are a bit full and busy.  The future workout room and the 'train' or toy room have both become storage rooms for the most part.  I don't have a storage room outside of these areas.  I am going to have to put up a couple of shelves in the laundry room and the garage to create some more efficient storage areas.  It is time to get rid of stuff that we just don't use anymore.  I got started in the future workout room and broke four boxes down to two.  One box to keep and the other to go to DI.  There was a lot of stuff thrown away and a few other items kept and stored elsewhere already.  We are parting ways with a fake tree that has been hidden away in the basement of our last house and this house for the last 4 years.  Clutter!  Just want to simplify.  Make things clean and easy.  Won't that be nice.  Hopefully I can get things rolling here and get this new floor done sooner then later. 

I've also got this yard thing going on where I want to install some sprinklers.  I'm not necessarily ready to go all out on a sprinkler system with multi-station controls and what not.  I just want to do something simple that can allow greater coverage in a more efficient manner.  It will involve some trenching, piping and eventually laying of sod. 

It feels good to have projects.  It will feel even better when I've got more of it in motion and am getting somewhere.
