A Touching Testimony

I don't know quite how to describe the emotions I have had over the last few days.  I was really missing the kids and was looking forward to their return.  The joy of having them home has been tremendous.  Perhaps relating it to a cup overflowing would be accurate.  These are my best friends.

In Fast and Testimony meeting today Bishop Elison talked about gratitude and the things we have to be grateful for.  I am grateful that the kids had a wonderful Alaska visit, that they enjoyed their time with their mom and that they have returned home safely.  Natty wanted me to go up and share my testimony because they were home.  I did not but Jack didn't let us down. He got up and represented our family, and did so well.  I have recorded and shared some of his testimonies.  Those who have read them know that they get to be a little bit of fun.  Today's testimony was short for Jack but was extremely touching and powerful.  Here it is:

"I would like to bear my testimony that I know the Church is true.  When I was up in Alaska, I really missed my dad.  I am happy to be back in Cedar City Utah.  Amen".  That was it, pretty simple for Jack and yet so powerful.  I was teary eyed and very grateful for that little boy.  It was a good meeting, a touching testimony.
