There was a time in my teenage years that a decision was made to have tacos for dinner every Sunday night. Let me just say that this was the best decision ever. I don't know exactly when this particular recipe started but I can say that I love tacos the Fontano way. I believe this was a Grandma Vi recipe and I'm sure mother can enlighten me sometime. Anyhow, my first day back in the U.S of A and all I wanted to have for dinner was Tacos Fontano. Ma did not disappoint. They were wonderful that day and are wonderful every time I have them.
I decided a few days ago that we needed to start that same tradition - Tacos on Sunday. I started it today and, well, it may end today as well. I love them but it is a ton of work to put everything together. I don't know, I will attempt to get the kids assisting in the project. Natty is capable of loading tacos though hers may end up without tomato, some of them anyway. Hmmmm, worth a try for sure.
