Poor Concrete

Yesterday I decided I would try my hand and pouring some concrete to finish off the driveway where I took out a rose bush and several golf balls, weeds and things a few months ago.  I have been killing weeds and things in that area since then and have planned to pour concrete there since the beginning.  Well, it has come to my attention, very clearly, that I am not an expert when it comes to concrete.  This little project didn't quite turn out as planned.  In my mind it was going to look so good.  I had watched a concrete crew do a lot of work at the hotel next door to the Brick House a couple of months ago and they made it look easy.  Well, it wasn't all that easy and the mixing process was a little more difficult then I thought it would be.  In the end, I have a permanent weed barrier.  That is nice.  I will see if there is something I can come up with to enhance to good looks of this poor concrete.
