The Load

The load makes the difference.  Not talking about the loads of laundry that I have done in the last few days.  I am talking about an excellent talk by Elder David A. Bednar  in the last conference where he talks about the load.  He shares a story of a friend who got his truck stuck in the snow while up to cut wood for his family.  With the truck stuck he could go nowhere and decided he would start cutting wood and he loaded up the truck.  Then he attempted to pull out again after the truck was loaded.  This time it moved and he was able to get clear of the snow.  It was the load that allowed him to do that.  Sometimes in life it is easy to feel overwhelmed and stretched beyond capacity.  When we understand that the load is a good thing and that it is a source of blessings in our lives, we will carry our burdens with a more thankful heart and will find help to carry the load through the savior.
