On my mission one of my companions, Nelson Marati Letsoalo used to say shake the tree. It was probably his favorite saying, not true, he loved quoting President Gordon B Hinckley ad did it rather well. Shake the tree however was his favorite thing to say when someone needed a little pep talk, a little encouragement.
Sometimes one literally shakes the tree. Such was the case today with the Apple tree in the front yard. I shook that tree hard and we felled a lot of apples. Brother Larry Reese from down the street stopped by and said we should put the apples in boxes for deer and he would deliver them to the deer. We shook, we gathered and now I am beat and ready for bed. Good times were had by all.
