NattyLand

I dropped Natalie off at the high school at 1:30 this morning for a band trip to the Heritage Music Festival in Southern California.  Her band is making one heck of a trip out of it.  They spent the day in Disneyland and will be back there tomorrow.  If I am remembering the itinerary correctly they went to Midevil Times for dinner tonight.  Quite the little trip.  I got a text from Natty telling me that she was in line to go on the Indiana Jones ride.  That is a sweet ride.  She sent me a text after telling me that she was going to pass out and that the ride was amazing.  I think she is in her element, surrounded by friends and having a blast being her silly self.  Another day at Disney tomorrow.  I think at some point in all of this they actually do something band/music related.  Glad she is there and had the opportunity to go.  I have encouraged her to be in the band because the band always seems to do something fun.  At least that is what I remember from growing up watching my younger siblings go through band.  Anyhow, much thanks to the folks and Jim and Clo and others who contributed to this trip.  It certainly was not on the cheap and way outside my budget. 

Well, since Natty is out enjoying NattyLand I decided the boys and I needed to go do something fun so we headed to the Aquatic Center tonight.  Probably not on the same scale of fun as Disneyland though I'm sure it is close.  Anyhow, we had a good time.
