Nice

I just saw an article about what it means when a girl tells you that you are nice.  There were 9 points given and each of them were an indication that she is not into you.  I have been told the nice thing for quite some time.  I thought maybe it meant I was doing something right.  Apparently it means I am boring or too safe or unattractive or whatever.  That's nice.  I went on a date with one girl who just came out and told me that she didn't feel the spark necessary to warrant a second date.  You know what, that is nice.  It doesn't give any false hope it just says it like it is and bam! done.  Funny enough I am actually pretty good friends with that gal.  I mean we don't hang out on the weekends or anything but we are friends.  Nice - who thought it would be a good idea to make that a code word for so many other things that really just mean bugger off?  It is a cruel dating world out there.  I have nothing but nice feelings about these dating games!
