Dave hooked me up with some tickets to the SUU Thunderbird Basketball game this evening. Originally I was supposed to line up a date with this girl that Laura worked with and her and Amy know. I did not. It is hard to just up and call someone that you don't know and, well, I have actually felt strongly about doing more stuff with Natty lately. She needs to have that special time with me when it is just us and we can talk. I started out by showing her some of the things a proper date should do. That only lasted so long until she asked that I not open the car door for her. Little Miss Independent.
We had a great time. She chose to eat at Wendy's and then we went over to the game. We played musical chairs at first because we somehow lined up right behind the guys that stand up the entire time. We moved up a few rows, then a few more, and then we just changed to a completely different section. Somehow we ended up in the middle of the SUU Baseball team. It was fun. Unfortunately the TBirds lost the game though it was close. We did go down to the court after the game then had a race up the bleachers. Somehow she managed to beat me by a step. We had a footrace in the parking lot and again, she may have donimated there as well. That race reminded her of a race we had in Florida. We were racing to see who could get in their seat and buckled up the fasted. I forgot to unlock the doors and when I grabbed the handle to open the door I ripped it clean off the door. I had forgotten about that until today. Fun times.
Well here are a few pictures of us at the game.
Special thanks to Mom and Dad for taking Jack and Andy this evening. They had a great time. So much so that little Andy did not want to leave. He was high kicking his chair for the car he was so angry. It was actually pretty funny. These are all good kids and I love them.
