Late Night

Not sure how it got so late. I haven't even worked out yet. Yikes, time has gone by quickly tonight.

I need to say a word or two about our visit to Vegas. I am very grateful that Clorinda called me a couple of weeks ago. She told me about the conference that I would have never heard about otherwise. She also presented a great little plan that they would take Natty, Jack and Andy so that I could attend. They really wanted to have us down so that they could spend that time with us. When she called I have to say that I was less then enthused at the idea of going to a singles conference. This type of event is almost more then I can stand and going in alone to something of this nature is overwhelming. I have a hard time being with a bunch of strangers. I tend to stay to myself and probably don't come off as being very approachable. It is easier to avoid these types of situations all together. Anyhow, I had spoken to Clo on the phone and then a few days later an envelope arrived in the mail with a card from Clo talking about the conference and the kids. I determined that I would go despite my fears.

I won't rehatch more about the conference proceedings as i think I hit that well enough over the last couple nights. I do have to say the chain of events there was interesting and I am very grateful that I went. It was a lot of fun for me to watch Jack and Andy with their Aunt Clo and Uncle Jim. They were having a great time with them. Natty Sue was also in the middle of terrorizing her uncle. I was so grateful to see the bond and the love that existed there with my kids. Sometimes it is difficult to relate the amount of gratitude one has and I have to say that I am extremely grateful for the tender moments when Clorinda would hold and kiss the little boys and just love them. Andy would grab her hair and just play with it in his hand. That is a major comfort thing for him and my lack of hair makes that tough at home. What a wonderful time it was together.

We went out to the Clark County Museum in Henderson and the kids all enjoyed runnning around. The kids had a good time. There were some old trains. Okay, I am falling asleep and need to close.

I love my sweet kids; Natty, Jack and Andy are wonderful. Grateful to be home and am looking foward to heading to bed now. Cheers!
