One Excited, One Sick, One Curious

This morning Jack was up and moving before my alarm went off. He was very excited about the day when he opened his blinds to see that there was fresh snow on the ground and that the snow was coming down. He then went and opened the front curtains and excitedly came in my room to tell me all about it. It was wonderful and I quite like that as opposed to working tirelessly to get him to get up in the morning. I appreciate the assist from the weather this morning. Always nice to have little Jack happy and excited at the start of the day even if it means I can't get away with hitting the snooze button once of twice.

We had a rough go last night with AndyboyTano. He caught what Natty had and then some. Poor little fella really wanted to go today. When I told him we had to go to the Little Brick House he was not so enthused. In the end he did just fine. He doesn't have a big appetite at the moment and had a bit of a fever earlier. He just fell asleep which is nice. Sometimes it is hard to believe the amount of snot one little boy can produce in a day. We did do our favorite nose blowing trick a few times today. Yes it is the good old fashion snot butterfly. Once he blows his nose we press the paper towel or tissue together, then we unfold it and look at the unique snot butterfly. Hey, no two are the same. I usually let out a scream at the sight and we laugh. Simple pleasures when you are sick. Simple pleasures.

At 10 minutes to 11 Natty came out and started asking me questions about how I knew the Church was true and the scriptures were true and that Jesus was real. So we chatted for a little bit. I asked how she felt when she read the scriptures and she said sometimes she feels warm and good. I asked if she knew where those feelings came from. She did not. So we then discussed the different ways the Holy Ghost speaks to us, the fruits of the Spirit. I figured this to be one of the basics in finding a testimony of the gospel. We have to understand how the spirit testifies of truth. We then discussed Moroni 10:3-5. Natty read it and then we reviewed it. She was excited to mark the scriture and we will discuss this further over the next while. I am grateful for her desire to know.

Thankful for these three little ones. They certainly bring a lot of joy to my life.
