Had a little bit of a crazy morning with trying to coordinate a few things regarding kids, work, babysitting etc. I was hoping to find some help with the kids and had to make a couple of changes. Natty can handle a couple hours every now and then. We had the power off to the house today because of new power lines being pulled. I didn’t really want to leave the kids at home with that being the case but it got down to the point where I had no choice. Mom was also at work and would help with the kids when Dani came in. It happened and the kids seemed to have a great time with grandma. Grateful for that help.

I went in and worked for a while. It was another good day for the café. Glad for that. I had a note come through that Heidi was moving today and so I ran over there. I was running a little behind what was scheduled on the text and thought I might have missed it when I got there. Her car was in the drive so I went to knock on the door to apologize for missing it. Turned out I was the first one there. The truck hadn’t arrived yet. I was able to help with a couple of nuts and bolts of the beds and we got them knocked down just before the truck got there. A few more brethren came and that was great. It was a bit of an optical illusion when we loaded in the back of the truck. It was leaning heavily to the right and that made things a little weird. I always enjoy a good move and fun association with those I have opportunity to serve with.

I am just going to say that Heidi is one of my favorite people. She is a phenomenal mother and just a tremendous example. She is a good friend and I am going to miss her being so close. As things go, I am now in her parents ward so maybe I can catch up with her when she comes to town to visit them – assuming she comes to the 8th Ward. I hope for the best for her and her family and am happy for them.

We are up late enjoying a bit of a movie night. Pirates of the Carribean, At Worlds End. I don’t know how much more I will be able to take. I am very much ready for bed. Did something to my back tonight at the Little Brick House. It is hurting a skosh. Anyhow, love my kiddos. Happy to have them home.
