I was getting ready this morning and after getting out of the shower I could here the piano being played and I could hear Andy singing fairly enthusiastically. I quietly opened the door so I could more easily listen in. He was singing an apology that must have been rather sincere as he repeated the word sorry several times. Apparently the apology was received as the lyrics suddenly switched over to being friends and a team. I had to get a look at what he was doing so I sneaked a little peak and found that he was actually playing with two toy monster trucks and was carrying on a conversation between the two. He was using the vehicles to play the piano to contribute to this monster truck musical. I had a good laugh watching him get into it.
In other Andy news I got a call from his teacher today and she informed me that Andy actually meets the criteria for the extended day kindergarten. She explained the program and asked if I was interested in having him attend. Absolutely. Andy loves school and this will be a good thing. His birthday is the last day before the cut off and he is a little small both of which are contributing factors. He is excited about it and I think he will do just fine. Perhaps we can convince the school to produce Kindergarten Musical and allow Andy to star in the show with his amazing musical talent displayed today.
