This is simply crazy. I am shocked that today is already the first of August. This year has simply passed to quickly. I am not complaining especially since Natty, Jack and Andy are coming home tomorrow. No the quick days don’t hurt my feelings.
As noted the kids are coming home tomorrow and I will be picking them up in Vegas. They come in sometime around 7:30 PM. I am looking forward to having them home. I am completely exhausted still and didn’t get a lot of rest with them being gone. That is okay though. There has been a lot going on.
With the trip to Vegas tomorrow it was rather important that I get the tables finished for Karen Slaughter. They have been a good project. The sewing table turned out rather well and the dining table – well, it looks great. It was a lot of work. I am a tad nervous at the moment because I have shellacked them and they are sitting in the garage drying. The problem is that we have a ton of bugs flying around the garage lights. I have already had to pull several of the bugs off of the table. It is pretty crazy. I am hoping they steer clear of it. We will see in the morning. I will take some pictures of them tomorrow. There were a couple of challenges but hopefully they will look great.
It is time to turn in. I am sitting here trying to think of what to write about next and can barely keep my eyes open. How about I just keep typing without seeing? That can make for some interesting discussion. Well, I am completely spent and so I am going to stop fighting and just give in to sleep.
