SoccerBoy
Andy had his first day of soccer today. Well, official team soccer. He has come out and practiced with me many times – last year with the Green Dragons and this year with the Smurf Its. No, this is his team and he loves it. He was so excited to be out there with other little boys his age. That is a good thing. He struck several poses following a big kick. In process of doing so the entire game would shift to another area of the field. It was herd soccer though Andy had to keep running to join the herd as a result of all the poses. He did well with his dribbling etc. It was really fun for him, he was very excited about it.
Jack spent his day with Trains. He was all about watching the Railroad videos that I bought for him when we were moving. He loves them. His favorite today was the bullet train that runs from London to Paris in 3 hours. The boy is now loaded with a lot of railroad knowledge.
Natty helped out with some babysitting today while I was at an LBH meeting. She has also been working on a book today and having fun with that. I guess I should clarify – reading a book, not working on a book. I am glad she enjoys reading. Definitely something she picked up from her mother. Not that I don’t enjoy reading. I find it a very useful way to fall asleep.
Natty, Jack and Andy are good kids. It is wonderful to have them home. Each is unique. I love them and am so grateful to be their dad.
