Jack left the tent before I did and I caught up to him over at the fire. He was there with Brothers Bishop, Johnson, Simmerman and Taylor. When I sat down with him he said to me "This is a white mans fire...". I thought that was odd and wasn't quite sure what to think or wondered where he had heard it. Everyone was grinning so I asked Jack where he learned about that and it was apparently a topic of discussion before I joined the group. The kid is a sponge and will remember exactly what you say.
As time went on Brother Simmerman asked Brother Johnson "Are you half Polar Bear?" He was sitting back away from the fire and only had a regular t-shirt on with some jeans and his shoes. Jack chimed in "I'm not half Polar Bear, I'm half dog". Everyone was chuckling a bit. Brother Johnson then asked "What kind of dog are you Jack?" and all awaited his answer. It was sure to be something large and powerful... "A Pug" came the reply. Now we were all laughing. Jack then spoke again "Oh look, my Pug is standing with his bum close to the fire". Another round of laughter. Jack asked "How do you spell Pug?" Brother Johnson answered "PWWUG". "No, it's P U G".
It was a great camp and we had a great time. There is more to stay but I am completely out of steam so I am closing for now.
Here are some pics from the camp.
