Sad News

I was preparing to leave the Little Brick House tonight when a phone call came in.  It was Aunt Joy looking for dad.  She didn't sound great and said things were not good so I asked what was going on.  Aunt Judy has a brain tumor.  It is aggressive.  They were able to remove some of what was bad but there are a lot of tentacles that spread through out.  Apparently the report is that she is not expected to live much longer.  I am saddened by this news.  I love my Aunt Judy.  She is a wonderful lady.  I can still remember driving across the State of Nevada with Grandma Vi and showing up at Judy and Dale's house.  They had a couch bed back then in the family room.  I was a little shy as these were strangers to me but I remember being safe with them.  I have always enjoyed sitting and having conversations with Judy.  Anyhow, my heart is saddened today as I think about that.
