It was Jack's first time attending Cub Scouts. He was really excited to go and he had a great time. When we pulled up to the Church Brother Brinkerhoff was out in his chair waiting. I said "There's Brother ... " my mind went blank, I couldn't remember his name. After a short pause Jack said "Brinkerhoff". He remembered their names after one meeting last week. I thought that was pretty cool. He had a fabulous time. So happy for little Jack.
Andy is also excited for him and I think he will also do quite well when he gets into scouts. Both boys really want to do the Pinewood Derby. In fact, Jack knows exactly where the page is that outlines Pinewood Derby. He showed the other boys the page when they were all standing in the hall; "This is what I really want to do" he said. I thought it was fabulous.
Anyway, here is a pic of Jack in his uniform.
