12 Years

Today marks the 12th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.  It is a moving thing to look at images of that day and to reflect on the emotions experienced as I watched this event happening on television.  It was a sad and somber day in America.  The tragic loss of life and the attacks on our soil were hard to bear.  Through this tragedy there was a unifying of our nation that I had never experienced previously.  It is sad that that unity has been lost to party politics.
