Fast Acting

We were out of many of our desserts tonight so I went about making some pies and doing a few other things at the cafe tonight.  It was a busy night.  Anyway, I had Jack there with me, he loves to be at work.  Whenever we get food at the cafe he asks first for a steak but he doesn't always get it, actually it is pretty expensive stuff so sometimes Jack settles for a plain burger cut up or chicken fingers.  Tonight he was on the steak.  I cooked one up for him or had one cooked up for him.  He ended up eating too fast and began choking.  He was by himself in the office and I think it got a little scary for him.  The door was closed and none of us could see him.  He had the presence of mind to get up and walk out calmly.  Brent saw him at that point, said he was looking pretty red.  Brent grabbed Jack, tried to clear his throat with his finger and gave him some slaps on the back.  The food came out and Jack was much better though he was shaken up some.  Grateful .
