Workin the Lines

Had a special treat this evening, got to go and work the sidelines for the Cedar High School football game.  Sidelines?  That may not quite be what we are officially called.  I was with Dave's crew that handles the first down/down markers on the football field.  Is that part of the officiating crew?  Whatever it was I was working the lines.  I had the responsibility of laying down the first down marker.  It was great fun.  I had the best seat in the house for every play some of which came very close to the sidelines.  Oh my goodness,  Fun times.  Mush sleep now.
