Researching

I am researching a topic at the moment and not having a lot of luck.  The topic: Family Relations in a Single Parent Eternal Family.  A couple of days ago I got a call from President Burgess and he came to meet with me.  You know I was totally hoping for a call to serve as the Stake Single Adult Rep.  I should probably stop joking about that...  Anyway, I didn't really expect a calling especially since he was coming to see me.  Well, the topic I am researching is the topic he invited me to speak about during the Saturday night session of Stake Conference next weekend.  This is new for me.  I have spoken on a few different topics in my day but never on something of this nature.  I have never spoken in a Stake Conference before either.  Should be a great experience though the lack of information on the topic assigned is making it interesting.   Actually, my first impressions are that of the Family Proclamation.  It applies to single parents just as much as married parents.  To say there is good information and direction in the proclamation is a bit of an understatement.  There is also personal experiences.  I've thought of a few things that we've experienced as a family in the last two years.  Some may be appropriate to share.  Anyhow, I will do my best to be spiritually prepared and will seek guidance from the Lord.  In the mean time, let the research continue.
