With the number 8 birthday Jack was scheduled to have a visit with the Bishop today. Bishop Elison is a great man. I sure do love and appreciate him. We went in to interview and he had a great time visiting with Jack and Jack had a wonderful time telling him all about hot wheels wall tracks and the 3 lane super speedway. He even recited a number of the cars that came with the super speedway. The Bishop just took it all in. It was pretty funny.
At one point in the interview the Bishop asked if Jack knew what was going to happen at his baptism. At first Jack said no but then he realized that he did know and he got up to do a demonstration. I started to go back just like you do when you get baptized and I think the Bishop got a little nervous, as did I, that Jack was going to fall straight back. Fortunately he fell gracefully and rounded it down pretty good.
Anyhow, Jack had a lot to say and to demonstrate and we enjoyed our visit with the Bishop. Jack will be getting baptized on the 2nd of June. Obviously that is a little bit away instead of this coming month. This will allow Rachel to be here for it when she comes to pick them up for the Summer.
Well, we are excited and looking forward to it.
