I stopped in at the LBH tonight after I had been home for a bit because I suddenly remembered we were out of ketchup and I had a couple of extra bottles at the house that were sitting in food storage. It is only needed for kids hot dogs unless someone asks for it. I do believe a guy had a Philly steak one day and asked for ketchup. That is just wrong. Anyhow, I brought in the ketchup, surveyed the customers and saw a couple that we have seen in several times. I spoke to them on my way out and then we ended up in a much bigger conversation. Glen and Leslie are their names. They moved to Cedar in October and they love the LBH. We were talking on a variety of topics and it was quite nice to visit with them for more then just a couple of minutes. Neat people.
I find that there is a lot of good in people. There was another gal in today who has been in a few times. She doesn't have the friendliest of countenances but today I got her to smile and laugh a bit at the register. That seemed like a breakthrough as her entire countenance changed. It felt good to see her smile.
