Andy is not a big fan of homework. The boy is in kindergarten so we are in for long educational journey. Anyway, he was doing a little whining, a little complaining about having homework to do. Just how much homework could he have at this age? Well, he has a regular homework assignment everyday from Mrs. Woods class and then he has 30 minutes of reading to do each day and he occasionally has an assignment from Mrs. Jensen's class. He can be a busy boy and I completely understand where he is coming from. Homework was my least favorite thing to do which is why I usually did it during the class just before the class it was due in. I don't know how I managed to pull off the grades I did in high school. Oh well, the point is I would much rather be doing something else and generally that meant something outside. I see a lot of that in Andy.
So I have Andy complaining about homework and Jack pipes up with a brilliant suggestion on how to lighten the homework load. He said: "Andy, you just need to feed it to the dog". Apparently Jack has heard the excuse that the dog ate my homework . We don't have a dog but Jack sure saw just how easy it would be to mugging people, scratch.
