Church
I am 39 years old. I know, hard to believe. Anyway, I have gone to church my entire life. Very rarely do I miss a Sunday. I am grateful for the influence the Gospel of Jesus Christ has had on my life. I am grateful for my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am grateful that as I attend I am uplifted and edified by the things that are shared and by the Spirit that testifies of truth. I am grateful for those things that help me to become better, to have a desire to become better, to work a little harder, to remain faithful and to stay the course. It is not always easy to be at church with 3 kids that are learning and developing. They don't always want to be there and that can sometimes create some challenges but we press forward with faith. We strive to train up a child in the way that they should go and trust that when they are older they will not depart from it. Yes, I am grateful for the influence church has on my life. I guess I should properly define that. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the church that he established on the earth in the last days even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that Christ stands at the head of the church and that we are lead by his Prophets and Apostles on the Earth today. My life has been blessed because of this knowledge. My life is blessed as I strive to follow the counsel of these living Prophets and Apostles. In doing so I am following the Lord and in that there is strength, there is happiness, there is hope.
