Tonight we had everything rolling. Homework with Jack was happening while pizza was cooking. Got Andy through his homework, Natty was working on hers. The kids had dinner and during dinner I gave a lesson for FHE. Following the lesson we made a run for pumpkins. I told Jack on Saturday night that we could get pumpkins for FHE. I thought he would have forgotten, nope. He remembered and made sure I remembered as well. And so we made a little pumpkin run. Well, little is not the appropriate word here. The boys both picked out good, healthy sized pumpkins. They did a great job. Natty likewise did a great job and gets the award for finding the biggest pumpkin. My word, that thing is huge. We all had a good time. Now to figure out what we will carve in them...
On our way to the store we continued with our FHE. We sang a song; "I am a Child of God" and then I asked the kids what their favorite primary song was.
Andy - I am a Child of God
Jack - Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam
Natty - Teach me to Walk in the Light
We sang each of the songs together. Everyone participated. That was nice. I shared one of my favorite primary songs as we pulled in; Families Can Be Together. We sang that one together also. We had a good time singing and a fabulous time pumpkin hunting. Sure am grateful for Natty, Jack and Andy.
