Jack has been sick since Sunday. He had a better day today, a little more life in him then yesterday. That is a good thing. No puking today, that is also a good thing though puking with Jack just isn't that bad. I had the one freak puke a couple weeks ago when he just didn't get to the sink but other than that he is a master of taking care of himself and makes sure he gets to a bowl, bucket, toilet or sink. Yesterday he had a couple of episodes and I was with him and would pat his back or whatever and he actually would stop mid-puke and politely ask me to stop. Apparently I was irritating him and the puker needed no feeble attempts at comfort made on his behalf. I would stop and laugh at myself and he would go on about his business.
Anyhow, no such puking problems today which is great. He didn't have much of an appetite though I did manage to get him to eat a couple of things. He refused to eat saltine crackers, hates them. He wanted ice cream and somehow we came together on chocolate chip waffles. He then tackled some pulled turkey while hanging out at The Little Brick House with me today. Couldn't get him to go for much else - he had a Sprite and a little water. By the end of the day he was feeling pretty crummy and his fever had returned so we got him some medicine and he has been passed out on the couch for the last 5 hours. His fever did break. I am happy about that.
I am really hoping that Natty and Andy do not come down with whatever this is. I am hoping I don't come down with it either. I just don't have time. Who does? Well, hoping my sickly boy makes a full recovery soon.
