Ford Men

It has been a full day.  I ended up working all day which is never fun when the kids are at home on a Saturday.  I don't like doing that but sometimes we have to. We did end up needing to make a trip to St. George for a few items at Costco so I came home, picked up the kids and we went down.  We shopped and then had to treat ourselves to a little Costco snack bar.  The kids like the Pizza and I prefer the dog.  Love those things.  It was extremely busy, I expected it to be as every other Saturday afternoon that I've been there it has been busy.  If we didn't have to go I would not have.  We had a good time. 

After getting back and unloading things at the LBH we came home.  Then Jack and I ran over to Wally World for a few things.  On the way back to our house he got all excited when he saw "Mr. Jenkins" truck.  It is one of his favorite things in the world.  He's informed me that Mr. Jenkins is going to give it to him when he turns 16.  We were reversing into our driveway and Jack patted me on the forearm and said "We're Ford Men..."  I thought I was going to die laughing.  It was great.  Jack didn't quite know what to think and couldn't understand why I was laughing as he was dead serious - we are Ford men.  I agreed with him, how could I not?  Anyway he went on to tell me how Mr. Jenkins is a Chevy Man and that he isn't even sure how he ended up with that Ford.  He is going to give it to Jack when he turns 16.  This is all according to Jack, you know, my fellow Ford Man. 

Sure do love these kids.
