Halloween Oh' Twelve

The day of Halloween has arrived.  Mario and Luigi were out on the street with a very loverly zombie dancer - if that is in fact what Natty is.  She did a great job on her costume with some help from Annie across the street.    

Officer Blart was on the scene tonight taking the kids around the neighborhood for some safe trick or treating.  There may have been one or two folks out there completely unfamiliar with my character and thought I was not in costume.  What can I say, the uniform is pretty sharp.  I think it is the dinosaur tie pin that really takes is over the top.

After an evening of walking the streets we made our way to grandma and grandpas house to trick or treat there.  The kids each brought a piece of candy out of their collection to give to grandpa.  Andy to an Almond Joy, Jack a York Peppermint Patty and Natty a Hershey bar.  He wasn't home when we got there so we hung out with Grandma for a bit and blew bubbles.  Grandpa made it home as we were leaving so everyone got to say hi and show off their costumes.

Halloween 2012 has drawn to a close.  We had a great time out and about this evening.  It is fun to watch the kids out there enjoying themselves and having a good time.
