Today Andy was my little helper. We had a light that was burnt out at the Little Brick House - an outdoor light. Actually it was vandalized. We did some repair work on it this morning and it is sitting up and working again.
Following our electrical duties we were inside the store for awhile. "Reach for the Sky!" That can only mean one thing - Andy had a rubber band firing rifle. I had to go and get mine so we could play a little shootout game. We did not use rubber bands and he has no idea that they even do that. Anyhow, he loves wooden toy guns and we had fun together.
This morning before we left the house he was all about the Nacho Libre masks. He was Nacho and I got to be the other thing - i believe it was from the midget wrestlers Nacho had to face. They were a lot of fun.
Andy had drawn a few pictures today. He really wanted them mounted on the refrigerator. He found a stack of old Egg Systems magnets and went to town.
The kid keeps me on my toes. He is a good boy and I am so happy to have him in the family. He is a little odd at night though. He lays down in my bed, then he wakes up at 3 AM, says he's scared and wants me to take him to his bed. ??? What ever, so long as there are no more accidents.
We have a fun time together and I am grateful for our family. They are wonderful.
I love Andy Boytano as well. He makes me laugh and he reminds me of his Daddy when he was little. Kind of gruff sometimes on the outside but tender on the inside. And those dimples... they win me over every time I see them.
